A hilarious cozy mystery from USA Today best-selling author Shannon VanBergen.

Nikki and the Glock Grannies are finally taking a break—from crime, chaos, and community gossip. A relaxing cruise? What could go wrong?! Everything, apparently.

When a body turns up in the hallway outside of their cabin, the crew is quick to call it an unfortunate accident—just a tipsy tourist who couldn’t handle the buffet cocktails. But the Grannies have seen enough to know a cover-up when they smell one (and it’s not just the bad cruise shrimp). With limited clues, an uncooperative crew, and suspects on every deck, the Glock Grannies must navigate tight quarters, casino drama, and a side of seasickness. Can they crack the case before the ship docks—and the killer walks free?

Seas the Day is part of the Glock Grannies Cozy Mystery series. If you love clever mysteries, laugh-out-loud moments, and unforgettable characters, you’ll love this high-seas whodunit.

the narrator really lacked. I miss the old narrator. she made the characters come to life!

Cute story, but not near as fun & lively as the characters usually are. ☹️

I could tell within 4 seconds of starting that there was a different narrator from the previous books in the series. This one didn't have the same life to her voice as the old one, and the grannies' voices weren't as distinct or memorable. Unless something tragic has happened to the original narrator, I really hope they bring her back for the next book. The story itself was really fun and there were a few laugh out loud moments that I had to pause the book to compose my laughter. The different setting for the story was a nice change and I enjoyed the mystery. I'm not one to try to analyze and figure out who did it, I prefer to just enjoy and experience the story as it unfolds, so I didn't see the twist coming at the end.

Fun addition to the collection, but new narrator

As always this was a fantastic fun filled and charming story. I’ve read all of the Glock Grannies series. The characters are all very interesting. I only hope there will be more

So much fun! Highly recommend

I really love this series, which anyone knows who listens to a lot of books, a narrator makes a big difference in the listening enjoyment of a book. I felt I really knew all the characters just from their voices. I was so excited that a new book in the series was released. Right away I knew something was off, Grandma didn’t sound right, neither did Hattie or Irene. I immediately checked and sure enough there was a different narrator. My disappointment was immense, and even hesitated to listen to the book - just because there was a different narrator. Well, I read it anyway, and although the story lost some of its spark and good humor the book was enjoyable. I just hope Audible pays attention and brings Lauri Jo Daniel’s back for the next book in the series.

Warning - Different narrator
