Good Story

3.5 Stars for me

I definitely enjoy Nancy's writing style and her world building and will continue to read her stories. She builds a secondary story that tugs at the heart strings and weaves it flawlessly into the primary story.

My deductions for this story really started in the second half and are mostly focused on the overwhelming angst and head banter. The 180 towards the end that created the conflict seemed off and a bit forced. If this story was 90-120 minutes shorter (Audible) due to cutting the angst and head banter in half, it would have been 4.5 Stars or above for me.

I Hate How She Talks In Third Person

If this book wasn’t spoken in third person! This book would be five stars for sure!

Meh! It Was Okay!!!

Kind of disappointed with this one. I was waiting for Kyra and Will to have a connection; it never happened. At least not the way I'd hoped. I felt like I was being told about their love instead of experiencing it along with them. : (

The happy resolution

I appreciate how the various characters are developed, as well as the way the story is filled out with or so surrounding characters, rather than the flatness of only two people in the story...much more like real life!
