Two main male characters with the same voice…

Having pluck and Benedict having the same voice was incredibly frustrating.

It’s really more of the same that you’ve gotten in book one with less horrible dog slaughter… if you liked book one do you like this one if not, don’t read it. The tone and pacing doesn’t make a significant change.

Good story, wish we had more romance, good adventure and twist, good pacing. Hope there is a 3rd story.

A new take on magic

Love the author and reader. The story line hand an unexpected twist. When I thought it was one thing then another. It wasn’t your typical plot.

As good as Rachel and Jenks

I did not think that I would find a series I love as much as Rachel and Jenks but this is it. Kim struck again! I am so excited to see where their adventures take them! a unique magic system, a cool heroine and a fun mouthy sidekick? let's goooooo!
