The story and characters are well written and developed. I enjoyed the drama, chemistry and journey. Good read.

Leila is out celebrating when a mysterious man come up to her and there's chemistry between them. A one night stand, a pregnancy and seven years later, they meet again but Leila finds out he's her brothers best friend. Mark doesn't know thstvhe has a son with Leila but he can't keep away from her while he's visiting with her brother. Wonderful characters, steamy, drama and a happily-ever-after. The narrator does a wonderful job of narration and bring the characters to life as she reads the story.

After high school graduation, Leila and her friend go to a bar where she guzzles down her third drink. An older guy, Mark, teases her about slowing down, and she calls him daddy, continuing their flirty banter. When she clearly sees his face, she is amazed at how handsome he is. Her thoughts go naughty as she stares at him. He sees her intentions in her face and says he has a room upstairs if she is interested. Not exchanging names, they have a one-night-stand with each other.

Years pass and Leila’s brother invites his best friend home to his parents for a visit. Leila is stunned at seeing him again, and even more surprised that her feelings for him are still strong. Before she can tell him about Jeremy, her “little secret”, he sees her son and recognizes immediately that he is the dad. Will this situation drive him away? Or are they both ready to accept the second chance that they have just been given to become a family? The narrator for the audiobook version, Daphne Fields, brings the “reading” experience alive for the listener. She does a good job with the voices to personalize the story and make it easy for the listener to get an accurate impression of what each character is like. It helps to set the mood, familiarize the reader with the characters, and offers a pleasant way to “read” and enjoy the book.

The is a short erotic story. It includes an age gap, daddy, forbidden love, and one night stand. Leila meets Mark at a local bar. Mark is an older and attractive guy. Instant physical attraction, and an invitation for a one-night stand ensues. Oops, a surprise pregnancy happens. Time goes by, and they run into each other again. Turns out he is Leila’s brother’s best friend. The sexual attraction is still there, and they try it again. I believe the story line is fine. I had difficulties staying focused. The narration was fine. I received a free copy of this audiobook and am voluntarily leaving my review.

The narration was really good. I enjoyed this secret baby with brothers best friend romance novella. It did feel a little rushed but has an easy to follow storyline. Mark and Leila have a hot one night stand and she ends up pregnant. 7 years later they reconnect when her brother brings his best friend home. I love how Mark steps up. Overall a good book.
