He says I’m his soul mate. But I’m also another man’s wife.

It was supposed to be a simple weekend away to forget the heartache caused by my cheating husband. But the man sitting next to me in 1B has different plans. Cash’s whiskey-colored eyes and easy smile beg me to dance beneath the stars, kiss in the moonlight, and walk hand in hand down the streets of Boston. Unfortunately, life has other plans because I’m still married, and Cash James is the billionaire playboy standing between me and my dream promotion.

My job is simple—find Mr. James a wife. But nothing is easy when simply walking into his office and inhaling his woodsy scent makes me feel a buzz like I’ve just sipped straight from the whiskey bottle. He makes me tipsy with emotion. Breathless, fearless, and stupid.

Because no matter how good it feels in the moment, our love burns on the way down.

Whiskey Lies is book one of the Falling for Whiskey duet. It is a billionaire contemporary romance. This book is part of a duet and is not a stand-alone.

Swoon: For the first time ever....this changed from the beginning to the end. As of right now I will give Cash 😍

What an absolute rollercoaster ride!! Brittanee brings the spice almost immediately and I am here for it.

Cash is taking over as CEO of his family's company and his taking one last weekend to relax. Grace is taking a weekend away after learning her husband has been unfaithful. The two meet and the chemistry crackles instantly. I love how Grace is a little bit older than Cash..hello age gap🥵

Lucy and Joe completely brought this book to life with their performance and their ability to convey such raw emotions. You could feel their sadness, their anger, their love, their hunger and so many others..it was the whole spectrum.

I'm also amazed how Brittanee was able to completely change my mind about certain characters...I had these preconceived ideas and she completely destroyed them in the best possible way.

I'm going to avoid any spoilers but listen to Whiskey Lies and then immediately hit play on Loving Whiskey.

Wow! My first time reading this author and it was excellent! I loved the story and how it unfolded. Each character was introduced and blended in just beautifully. You can feel their heat 🔥🔥. Love the well written characters and the narrators did an excellent job bringing each of them to life. I can't wait to start the next book totally worth the credit!

Story was fine. Ended on a cliff hanger so I had to move on to book 2. I hated book 2. By the end I just thought Grace would be better off alone. This book was fine. nothing exemplary. the narration was AWESOME! I like a duel narration and these 2 did it so well!

Great Narration, mediocre story

BRITTANÉE!!!! What was that ending!?!?! How could you do that me!?!?

Grace is a 36 year old matchmaker extraordinaire to the upper class. This has been her life and her focus since graduating college. When she discovers that her husband has been having an affair and wants a divorce, she takes a much deserved trip (that was meant for them as a couple) to try and rediscover herself and how she’s going to manage the fallout from being a matchmakers who’s marriage didn’t go the distance.

Cash is a 30 year old heir to a Whiskey fortune who’s about to take over as CEO for his family’s company, a job that shouldn’t go to him as 3rd in line, and a job that he doesn’t really want. Cash is taking a few days to himself prior to the takeover for his last “hoorah” since he’s going to have focus on making the transition as smooth as possible.

From the first time Cash and Grace meet on the plane, the attraction and chemistry is sizzling between them, but my girl Grace does NOT know how to communicate. Rather than confess to the sexy stranger seated next to her that her marriage is over, Grace lets Cash believe that she’s a single woman looking for a weekend of fun. Little does she know how hard and fast Cash is going to fall for her, and how persistently he’s going to pursue her.

When they return (separately) to Boston, Grace focuses on work and accepting the client that will change everything for her. Little does she know that last client, Cassius James, is the hot, kind, skillful, and considerate man she just spent a very steamy long weekend with.

The back and forth between them is so intense and also frustrating. Gracie girl, you talk about yelling at the characters in the romance novels you read, well that’s exactly what I was doing with you!! And the spice…..chefs kiss! The balcony scene, THE BALCONY SCENE!!!🥵😮‍💨👏🏻

Do yourself a favor and read this one. Do yourself an extra favor and let Joe Arden and Lucy Rivers read this one to you!

Off to 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑾𝒉𝒊𝒔𝒌𝒆𝒚 because I NEED TO KNOW what happens after that cliffhanger!
