The most unexpected Dollanganger story of them all, new from the author of Flowers in the Attic and Petals on the Wind—both now major Lifetime movie events.

A young boy suffers amnesia from a trauma he suffered in what feels like must have been another life. He’s adopted into a wealthy family—but what will happen when he learns the truth about his past?

if you're looking for a story about what actually happened to Cory, don't look for it here. This book is straight boring.

Don't bother!

Started strong and thought the story would be more about Cory but it was mostly about Clara Sue and it was kind of boring.

A poisoned child and a child hit by a truck show up at the same hospital.Who will survive and what will happen to them? The family of the hurt child are waiting to see what is going on with Willie when the grandfather sees the poisoned child. He wonders where the boy’s family is and why he appears to be alone. I really enjoyed reading this book and finding out where VC Andrews took us in this book. It’s both a heartbreaking and heartwarming story that shows that people are good at heart. I recommend reading the other books that are tied into the Flowers in the Attic series, this being one of them. Please read in Chronological order as you will be confused if you don’t.

As a story in and of itself it delivers like any other V.C. Andrews book. If you wanted more insight into what happened to Cory, you won’t get much from reading this. Hoping there is another book in this series eventually.

If you wanted more info on Cory, you won’t get it here.
