What a twist

So I'm not going to lie. I liked the first book in this series but a huge portion of this second book felt slow. The rh aspects feel somewhat pointless and the multiple pov sometimes makes me feel like I'm getting whiplash sometimes (especially with how some of the romance scenes happen). BUT... BUT.... that ending pulled me back. Really thd last 10 ish chapters have me ready for the next book. I'm hoping that the pacing in the third book will be a little better and that the relationships become more meaningful.

Gripping plot twists and character development

Both the first book and this one had me in a vice grip! One of the most creative worlds/magic systems I’ve ever read. The relationships and character development are amazing and there’s a sgood spice level sprinkled throughout.

ends on a cliffhanger with no future date (as of now) for the next one to come out.

this book was near as smutty as I had hoped, and even though it brings out all the feels, (I hate stuff that makes me cry)I hope the 3rd book comes out before I have to listen to the first two again to remember what happened. I can't deal with all those emotions again.

nice surprise

I didn't think I was going to like the series as much as I did but now I'm hooked and I hope there will be a book 3.

Big cliffhanger

I’m just not a super spicy book enjoyer but I still really liked the book if I skipped past the intense parts - i liked the story, plot, gore , and characters a lot. The end makes me want the 3rd book now.
