strong woman meets equally strong man

As with many of these Regency novels, the h is a strong minded woman who meets a vexing H. They find their initial impressions are incorrect and find themselves more attracted to each other than they anticipated. The book had great character development. There is relations before marriage and a couple of detailed scenes, so if that triggers your sensibilities, please feel free to skip this book.

Sweet novel from beginning to end that gives you a chuckle on how stuboborn one person can be but at the end all comes into place.

Loved it

From beginning to end this audio book was great. Didn’t want to stop listening. Loved the storyline and characters.

Orchids

I enjoyed Simon and Amelia’s story. This is a romantic romp with an arrogant hero, a feisty bluestocking heroine, fun family members, and a sneaky but cowardly villain. There is a lot of snarky banter, some steamy romance, and a bit of intrigue. An entertaining story, interesting characters, and, of course, a happily ever after. Terrific narration by Sloan Oliver.

I was struggling (grinding my teeth a little) with all the distrust double-talk, but they found a way to act like grownups eventually. Great narration.
