Jason does a fantastic job narrated this novella.

Loved the story, I’m confused with the epilogue

I have read over 627 books in the last year and I have never felt the need to leave a review but this epilogue just bothered me. It’s bad enough these stories are so short but then you wait all the way to the end to hear how things ended up for the couple you have been rooting for only to have the author write about the 18 year old from the previous book and update us on where she is in her life which honestly if no one read the prior book they would be so confused. I was bummed and it kind of ruined the story for me but I love the author still and will continue to read her books regardless. I just don’t understand not adding an epilogue to update us on the actual couple the story was written about. As always Jason Clarke is amazing and will continue to be one of my favorites!

Again, another great bedtime story from Shayla Black. And an awesome narration by Jason Clarke makes it so much better. Really enjoyed this one!

Short and (turns out) sweet! First there is a TW (trafficking), so be aware. Of course we know there is a HEA, so the romance definitely is at the forefront of this storyline. I love Christie and Ridge as a couple. Great writing and narration, and a really good story for as short as it is!
