Great Book!

The author's understanding of relationships and what constitutes a healthy relationship is perfect. I thought the training strategies for having sex early in a relationship were quite interesting. It was motivating to see how long-term planning and laying a strong foundation was prioritized over quick fixes. Well written.

Relationship Advice

Forensic research files clearly document the link between poor relationships and domestic violence. Although I can’t entirely agree with everything in this audiobook, I agree that the author completed the objective of providing a well-written and narrated production. This book tries to prepare women to understand the connections between love, relationships, and sex. Research by the author summarizes the birth of the ”Me Too” activist movement for female empowerment by victims of sexual abuse. I agree that if women had read this book, they could significantly reduce the risk of domestic abuse. The best benefit of this book is the strategies and symptoms of a poor relationship. As a man reading this, I felt some needles along the way. When I finished reading it, I had to admit two things. First, my current loving relationship is because I did not violate the rules outlined in this book. Second, I purchased the written book and sent it to my three granddaughters.

Integrity and honesty always!

Great audio book! I believe there is someone out there for everyone. No matter what you are into someone else will be as well.

Great examples. Always be upfront and honest from the start and never settle or compromise your beliefs for anyone. If someone isn’t willing to respect your wishes they are not for you.

Empowering Relationship Advice!

When I saw patterns emerging with my first relationships I knew I wanted to change it. I thought, why can't I attract a healthy partner? ..and then I listened to this. This audiobook had all the advice I needed to help me start respecting myself, thinking ahead of what I want, creating boundaries, and breaking out of negative patters. This book definitely empowered me to make up my mind to be picky and wait for the guy that doesn't just want sex, but who wants to be with me for the long haul. Highly recommend to anyone who feels like sex too soon is ruining their relationships, or anyone who wants to get started off on the right foot!

wish i had sooner

This is the type of book I had sooner. When I was a high school student, I didn't know my worth. I was "dating" (tbh, I never knew our status) a guy a grade older than me. Even though he gaslighted me, cheated, emotionally manipulated me, lied, and more, I stayed with him. Not sure why. I guess I always thought I could change him... WRONG!

The dynamic of dating has changed a lot with technology. Seeing how today's casual relationships don't end all that well, I encourage young adults- specifically women- to look closely at this book; you'll learn something valuable. It truly isn't all about sex. What happens when you take sex away? What's left?
