the story was good, but having reas the first one, the narration was too monotone for the characters

Very entertaining cozy mystery

I enjoy the wonderful quirky characters in this series and the warmth of the friendships. The strength in the women is another plus. The mystery unfolds throughout the book along with the growing romance between Dane and Lola. The narration is very good. It's a very entertaining book.
