The history & folklore the way Jillean weaves it all together inti an interesting story, I'm reading the book & listing to audio at the same time to make sure i understand the folklord, it is so interesting,

I am Inupiar and enjoyed this story

At first, I did not like the AI voice but it grew on me.
i enjoyed the storyline and characters, mostly due to me being Inupiat. I am proud that our people are used in a story of artic mythology and romance.
Big ups to the author and thank you for treating my tribe with respect, mystery, modernity yet mythological. 🪶

I enjoyed the story. It had interesting characters. I just started the second story. only a few words were mispronounced by virtual voice

Interesting book

I enjoyed this book which was the start to a new series. I use whisper sync as my preference when reading and listening to books. I wasn't sure I would like this virtual narration, but it wasn't bad. I'm looking forward to next year book in the series.
