Legends of the Guardian King Book 3—Karen Hancock has created a beautiful and powerful fantasy series that continues to win new fans and remind them of who holds their hopes and victories in His hands.

In Abramm's world, God is close to his followers, evil takes many forms, and one must believe in the light to see the darkness. While Abramm's coronation is still underway, rival leaders are already plotting their return to power.

Worse yet, as the hour approaches for Abramm's marriage to the Chesedhan crown princess—required to seal the desperately needed alliance between their two countries—he finds himself deeply attracted to her younger sister. Will Eidon give Abramm ultimate victory, or will his enemies succeed in destroying him and his beloved realm?

In my opinion an equally magnificent allegory as Lord of the Rings or CS Lewis. Definitely a hidden jewel amongst all Christian Fiction!

My favorite book of all time!

The third book in The Guardian-King Series, but the first of the series to make me ball like a baby! Abramm is left with scars from the battle at the end of The Shadow Within (book two) and he is on his way to his coronation. But the Enemy is not done plotting against him, especially as he is stepping into his destiny.
This book is bittersweet. So many amazing things happen that make my heart pitter-patter and my soul desire to reach out to God. However, it ends on one of the most heart-wrenching cliff hangers I've ever read. Karen Hancock does not shy away from writing about our spiritual and mental struggles as Christians in this allegorical series.

I am reluctant to even say this because I know what it is as an artist to have your work picked apart. that said I have to say this because this is a book series that I have loved. I've read it multiple times. Always enjoy it. Recently I've become more of a listener to audiobooks. The narrator reads well. their pace is good. But the overacting (I would describe it as almost cartoonish) really diminishes the story. and sadly I've seen a certain audiobook narrator speak to this. It is very well known to be an issue with many voice actors and narrators.I don't understand why they can't always treat it like they would if they were actual actor. speak like a normal person in any everyday conversation would. It diminishes the overall experience of the story. I find myself continually turning the audiobook off. I would encourage the narrator to listen to any book narrated by Tim Gerard Reynolds. no Disney character villains. normal real conversation. Also speaking of Mr Reynolds if you are a fan of this genre of faith-based fantasy. do yourself a favor right now and listen to dawn of wonder by Jonathan renshaw. It's a masterpiece

amazing story but disappointing performance by the narrator.
