Great book

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was hard to put down. I love the characters and story. Very unique and well written.

Surprisingly good!

I have to start with saying I really dig the narrator. Her voice did well at keeping my attention from drifting or zoning out. I’m usually walking out driving when listening and even a good story can kind of fade away when starting at a windshield.
I am far from a young adult, it’s a unique story and it’s not just for teens. If you like magic and such. :)
It’s worth a listen. Especially since you get the whole series for one credit.

Fun and unique!

I like the unique way Melanie frames Mages and their power in this story! The romance is clean and is more enemies to lovers, I really enjoyed it. Lots of action, and very few boring spots which makes this series really enjoyable to listen to!

I really enjoyed the Spoken Mage series; the characters had depth and passion and the action kept you on edge. I look forward to listening, via audiobook, to more series by Melanie Cellier.

I would recommend this to any Fantasy/Magic lover. Very well written and told. The characters are very good.
