I don't know what it is...

Whether it's the story or the narrator, I can't bring myself to finish this book. I feel like I'm getting a lecture, not being read a novel. I keep having to start the chapters over because I drift away and forget that I want to actually listen to what y brain is treating as white noise. I'm glad I got it on sale but I'm sad as well, there aren't enough lesbian fantasy novels on audible and this is a series so I was looking forward to a few good books before searching for a new one.
