Re-release of "Welcome to Cherrieville: Bitter & Sweet".

Imagine having everything ripped away in an instant.
Safiya “Star” Singh’s life was perfect until tragedy struck, leaving her to fight for survival in an unforgiving world. Risky choices, dangerous alliances, and the search for love through the chaos shaped Safiya’s path.

Meeting Blais “Blaze” White gave Safiya hope for life, security, and potentially love. He was a street menace, but something about Safiya softened him. While he was the ideal candidate to change her life, who he was attached to also had her uncertain.

Safiya’s story is one of resilience, risk, and an unyielding search for love and security — even when the odds are stacked against her. Will she find hope in the arms of Blaze, or will the streets claim her for good? Turn the pages of this wild, gritty street tale for action, suspense, secrets, and love.

I genuinely enjoyed it. It was one of the best things I’ve heard from Audible in about four days. Finally a story where a woman isn’t being brutally abused or treated like trash. I really enjoyed it. Keep it coming.

Oh my goodness this story saved Audible for me!!

Sounds like a great story BUT the voiceover was terrible.. definitely needs to add a lil more feeling.

Great storyline

I really wanted to enjoy this book. Mainly because I’m Trinidadian, and when I realized the story started off in Trinidad with Trini characters, I was tuned in. The AI generated narrator did not do this story any justice as all. It was horrible! Especially with the annunciations of the way Trini’s speak. The storyline was a little confusing. Safiya being a virgin and her whole sexual history and working as a model and stripper/sex worker didn’t make any sense. I stopped paying attention but was committed to finishing it to see how it will unfold. The story wasn’t believable.
