Disappointing

I was excited to read book 2 after finishing book 1. There was so much potential for the story. However, this was a waste of a credit. This felt very much like it was only part of a book. Like the author split a book in half just to make 3 books in the series. Silk goes nowhere. There is no character growth, and the storyline took a turn for the worse. I wish I could get this credit back.
The narrator does a good job reading the story. I can’t giver her 1 star, but honestly, this series had so much potential with book 1 and just falls short. I will not read book 3.
