My bodyguards won’t leave me alone.

The nice one refuses to leave my side.

The stern one prefers to watch from a distance. He’s never spoken to me. But I can always feel his eyes on me. Always. Even when he shouldn’t be watching. Like when I’m in bed with my boyfriend.

He thinks I don’t know he’s watching. But I know. And I love it.

But what I don’t love is when they tell me it’s not safe for me to go to the biggest party of the year. Apparently, my father crossed the wrong mafia family. Again.

It’s fine, though. I’ve snuck away from them before. And I know I can do it again.

Last time they weren’t happy with me. They told me if I do it again, they’d punish me. Although the way they said it made me think that maybe I’d like being punished by them....
