Tabitha’s entire life came undone because of a simple, mundane errand.

Now left a young, widowed mother with two boys, she has to pick up the pieces of the life she created with her husband, Tate.

But there are too many reminders. Too many memories. Too much of Tate woven into the world around her. Tragedy stole Tate from her and yet, he is everywhere.

A year later, consumed with grief and exhausted from going through the motions, Tabitha uproots her family to live in a small, fishing town on the Oregon Coast. She hopes to find healing and the fresh start they all need. She could never anticipate what would find her.

A very difficult story to write and read, but a wonderfully beautiful example of the many surprises life holds, even in our darkest moments. Anne Marie Lewis's performance is superb. Every emotion is felt and shared by the listener, truly difficult with this story to do. Ms. Lewis is simply perfect in this performance.

I thought I could make it to the end without crying but I indeed did in the closing chapter. As words a friend wrote on this very same day that I completed this book. In regards to her husband who passed exactly one year ago today.

I have not suffer from lost love in my life so far, however my empathy was truly triggered by this wonderful and beautiful story of the life you lead after forever runs short.

There was such a beautiful evolution in this book, and I pray that there is a Dylan waiting for my friend on the other side of her lost forever. As well as all who lose a spouse or partner far too soon. Thank you Caitlin for this beautiful story.

What a beautiful story

The story was a mixture of love and grief! They mix together if allowed! New love is trusting a new person as well as yourself! Believe in love that is true and good! Book is well written and covers the story in a way that leaves moments to relate and understand! Not normal genre but well worth the read!

How hard it is to believe love!

The author sucks you into the story within minutes. I simultaneously wanted to find out what happened and also didn’t want the book to end. The characters have such depth to them. You really want to root for them and also hold them accountable in their shortcomings. Wonderful book!

So good!!!
