Just when you don't think you could love this series anymore, Samantha gifts us with this gem.

I loved Allegra. She might not be polished, but she sure knows what she wants, and what she wants is to be and live in Scotland. And if that means a marriage of convenience, well, so be it. I mean, just look at Jared. He is easy on the eyes, and well, he needs her as much as she needs him.

Oh, the sparks sure do fly in this beauty. The undeniable attraction can not be tamed. It's the friendship that blooms and grows that shows them that maybe, just maybe, this doesn't have to be fake.

I loved it, and this whole world just buried itself in my heart. Shane and Stella's narration really gives this story wings; it's beautiful.

Oh gosh, I just loved these two! Even though Allegra was young, she showed so much maturity and I just loved her! I don't think anyone could top Beyond The Thistle.. but these two came close!

How the love between the two characters unfolded.

I did care much for how the attack on her life was concluded. It was to clean.

Grumpy / Sunshine - marraige of convenience.

Jared and Allegra’s story. We’ve been waiting since Beyond the Thistles for Allegra to get her happy ending and what a story it was! Jared is determined to save his family farm and grandfather’s legacy. Allegra is a successful artist that needs to find a way to stay in the only place that she calls home.

I loved watching their relationship develop. They both grew to trust and love each other while outside forces were working against them. Jared is gruff and has a troubled childhood but a soft spot for Allegra as she continues to surprise him. Allegra comes across as rebellious and free spirited but only her therapist knows the truth until Jared.

This is a marriage of convenience, forced proximity, and grumpy / sunshine all rolled into another terrific story by Samantha Young. They just keep getting better.

Shane East and Stella Hunter continue to show why they are two of the best in the business. Their narration just adds to the story.
