Great series

This is one of my favorite series. The characters have depth and passion. The story lines are intricate and intriguing. I always look forward to the next book. I am hoping for a different romantic partner for Bliss - hopefully that will happen. I must say, the crimes in this particular book were really gruesome. They were hard to listen to.

I have a crush on Jimmy.

I love this series and the characters. I have a huge crush on Jimmy. I've downloaded every volume available. Unusual for me, but the crime fiction has actually become secondary.

Not worth listening

This was my least favorite book in the series. Beginning with the extreme violence that opens in the first chapter, the plot made no sense. The plot hinges on the extremely violent rape and murder decades earlier, the motive for which is never explained. The likely suspects sit dormant until the present day, but the connection isn't made until nearly the end. As for the revenge motive for the present day torture and murders, it too, sits dormant for far too long to be believable. As for Bliss, he seems incapable of learning from his many, many mistakes. I wish I'd skipped this one.
