Ready or not, the time will come when they have to fight. Or be annihilated.

Better than the first

I was sceptical about the new narrator, but over she did a decent job.
Book 2 was better in the sense that you got to know the characters better. The action was great, and entertaining. There was good build up with a satisfying conclusion. The beginning of the book is important for the end, so stick with it.
There were only a couple of hints with language, that the author was from England, and not North Carolina. Over all a decent book, especially considering what's out there.

I really enjoyed both book 1 & 2. I can't wait for the 3rd one to come out on Audible!
