Needed time to get to like the main characters.

The hero is shallow and hard to like when the story begins. It took about four chapters to warm to him. The poor heroin has been through enough from her first husband that you wonder what she sees in Marcel.

Great series

Have enjoyed the story of each family member so far. I will continue until last book.

A really wonderful story that continues a family saga . A must if you have enjoyed other books in the series.

Viola!

Maybe, It’s because I identify with Viola that I enjoyed this so much. Too often, women of age are passed over. A man and younger woman is accepted but the reverse is shocking and she would be labeled a cougar. Very unfair as the playing field for older ladies is limited before the courting starts.

Ms Balogh is slightly winded but I do believe it’s purposely done to identify the time period. It’s so easy to imagine yourself standing by the cliff side.

Overall, very pleasing.
