Thanksgiving night in Kansas City means the Plaza Lighting Ceremony.

When Ellison Jones and her family go to her great-aunt's apartment to see the lights come on, she doesn't anticipate a murder (she never does). But when a shirt-tail relative falls from a seventeenth-floor balcony, she and Anarchy are drawn into the investigation.

Can they catch a killer before anyone else dies?

Love this shorter story for this busy time of year. Kept me interested. Hope there is another shorter length story soon.

Perfect for Thanksgiving

The narrator's voice was awful. She sounded like she was breathing helium. I won't choose any other books with that narrator.

ok story, bad narrator

Julie Mulhern's Country Club Murder series always hits it out of the park. Great story, witty characters, and great writing. This is yet another example. I adore this series!
My only complaint about this addition to the series is that it was just two hours long.
The narrator, Callie Beaulieu, is as always a wonder voice for the characters. She brings them to life in a most wonderful way.

Only complaint is that it's too short

These stories get better and better. Please keep writing them. I was a senior in high school in 1979. I know these times. And it’s so wonderful to relive them.

Anarchy surprised me!
