You will miss the characters of book 1.

Ok so you spend the 90% book in the astral realm. Definitely meet some fun and exciting characters but Isis definitely needed more time. The final war is exciting and I can't wait to see what happens in book 3.

A great series

I love how the author integrates earth myths into his stories. He actually has me going back to review when one comes up. All hail book 3.

Stance? Fate scale Fights? Fire

Bro book two goes of the rails with its fights and I had to remaind myself this is supposed to be a side quest to the main story, and it just become a whole new story in on it's self. when it gets steamy it gets hot and when these fight take off they go flying, cant waite to listen to book 3.

I really enjoyed the first book and this one was no different. I love books with multiple pov, behind the scenes scheming action and comedy. I found myself rewinding a lot as there is a lot going on but that's not a complaint. looking forward to more.
