In the midst of humanity’s greatest fight for survival, old rivalries threaten to pull allies apart in a rush for rumored alien tech.

With the newly weaponized Sergeant Reverent Pelletier and his Marine Raiders at the tip of the spear, only they stand a chance at holding the shaky alliance together long enough to meet the enemy.

The Centaurs are on their way to destroy the very birthplace of human civilization: Mother Earth itself.

Humanity's end may be upon us...but only if Rev and his team fail to do the impossible.

This book is doing good because normally at this point the writer would have run out of anything new and interesting. But he’s still going.

Still Great

Another installment of a great story. Love the characters and situations. Love military sci-fi. Loving the series.

Overall it's a good listen. The only problem I had with it was it seemed to jump ahead a little here and a little there. I had to go back a couple of times to make sure I hadn't missed something.

This was my favorite book in the series, it has the best scenes and you can see how the author has incorporated all of the feedback.

PROS:
*The plot was less predictable
*The main character is more relatable
* Good Dialogues
* Decent ending to this triology

CONS:
*The characters are still one-dimensional and with limited depth
* This series is a perfect argument in favor of plot structure
* Too much inner thoughts and general data that slows down the story
* Little conflict to move the story forward (yes I know the irony in a military sci-fi book) and this is more about the series as a whole, this book is an exception.

The narration is flawless

Best Book in the series

Honestly if all Chaney books could be read by Bray or Kafer I would be a happy person!

The combo works well so def looking forward to the next.

Enjoying the combo of Chaney and Kafer
