Librarian-witch Jane Madison has been invited to join the prestigious Washington Coven - a necessary step, if she’s going to hold onto her feline familiar, her beloved arcane books, and her sexy warder, David Montrose. As the Coven’s tests become more challenging, though, Jane must decide if she can trust her new witchy friend, Haylee. And then there’s that handsome Brit, Graeme Henderson, who is proving to be most distracting...Jane is about to be tested in ways she’s never imagined - and, pass or fail, nothing will ever be the same!

Critic reviews

"Klasky emphasizes the importance of being true to yourself and having faith in friends and family in her bewitching second romance featuring fledgling witch Jane Madison...readers who identify with Jane's remembered high school social angst will cheer her all the way." (Publishers Weekly)

What didn’t you like about Emma Galvin’s performance?

She pauses wher she shouldn't and doesn't where she should. It makes the narrative choppy and gets very distracting.

Not quite as good as the first book. But still a worthy try. I will be continuing with the series.

Good enough

The story really is pretty cute, fun and light and written well enough to draw the listener into the characters if you can get past the narration. She's horrible with pauses and breaks in the wrong places throws the rhythm of the entire book off.

I'm a series addict and it's killing me to not purchase the audible versions of the other two but I won't be. I'll get the actual book or Kindle version.

The story is cute but the narration...
