Abby got on my last nerves in both books but I had to keep listening. The virtual reader was horrible. The words were not pronounced correctly and I hope they never use it again.

Good Book

I appreciated this book and found it engaging, so overall, I wasn’t disappointed. However, I did notice that while the virtual voice added an interesting element to the reading, some of the pronunciations felt inaccurate and had a somewhat robotic quality.

Great book, but….

I really enjoyed the first book and audiobook. So I downloaded this one as soon as I saw it was available and didn’t notice that it was narrated by virtual voice. It was a terrible listening experience although the story is great. I primarily consume books through audiobooks, and this was a big disappointment. There is no voice differentiation between characters, no emotion from the narration, and the mispronunciations drove me crazy. This was almost unlistenable.

The virtual voice narration is awful

There were so many twist and turns in this book, but it was good. The ending caught me way off guard. Brent Carson got exactly what he deserved.
