Rebecca Caelum has gone through a rough period in her life. First, her mother dies in a tragedy that would scar her home city for the rest of its days. Then, her father withdraws into himself, leaving Rebecca to her own devices. Finally, after getting involved with some unscrupulous individuals, Rebecca ends up in Upper Octave's Juvenile Detention Center. Things weren't going great, to say the least.

Two years after that terrible incident, however, Rebecca's life sees a drastic change when her father receives a strange letter from the highest office in the land, the Queen of the Arian Empire herself.

Join Rebecca in the second volume of Star Overhead to discover the truth behind the lies, and answers deep within the mist.

The weird world of Star Overhead takes a turn toward another character this time by focusing on Rebecca Caelum, whom moves to Downbeat at the behest of a strange letter. A new direction in life gives her a chance to try and fix her relationship with her father.

That is, until Solei gets involved.

At its core, this is a story about dealing with grief. In the end it is a road you must travel alone, and no one and nothing can really help you along it. However, to actually make it down that road, you must be willing to try to walk it. Even if Rebecca is willing to move on, convincing her father to join her is another thing entirely.
