The third book in the legendary series featuring the pilots of Rogue Squadron

The Rebels have taken the Imperial headquarters world of Coruscant, but their problems are far from over.

A killer virus called Krytos is spreading among the population and fomenting a counterrevolution at the heart of the New Republic. At the same time, Rebel hero Tycho Celchu is on trial for treason, accused of murdering his comrade and fellow pilot Corran Horn.

Corran, however, is still alive, trapped in the secret, inescapable prison of Ysanne Isard, the imperial officer whose reputation for torture and cruelty have earned her the moniker Iceheart. As he fights for his freedom, the pilot discovers an extraordinary power in himself—the power of the Force!© and (P)2000 Lucasfilm Ltd. and TM.

While the story is good and the narration satisfactory the breaks between scenes are not pronounced causing a bit of confusion.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I enjoyed reading (listening to) this audiobook. I am a Star Wars fan and the continuing story is really great to read.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Star Wars?

The meeting at Alderan, this was the centre plot of the book and everything went wrong from this point. The dramatic moments all harked back to the meeting and it built towards the suspence of the story.

Which scene was your favorite?

Where they discovered who the tratior was and dealt with him.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I couldn't put it down until I had heard the whole story.

Any additional comments?

I want to listen again. It was well written, and I want to see more of these books in the future.

The trial of Tyco Selcu

This book, as well as the other 2 before it, the narrator kept pronouncing Coruscant as “cor-a-scant” instead of “cor-a-sant.” The end should sound like the end of croissant! And I’m no pronunciation expert and I’m sure the narrator was just pronouncing it as it was spelled, but no one on the production team has seen any of the Star Wars movies? They say it in at least episode 1 and 2. I’m seeing this audiobook was released in 2007, 5ish years after episode 2. They also mispronounced Bespin, which again actually appeared the in the original trilogy. Every time I heard the narrator pronounce Coruscant, it was jarring.

Enough of that! Overall this was a great book, great story.

Kept mispronouncing planet names.
