loved it!

this was such a great story. ..loved the narrator and her portrayal of different characters

Loved the story about all the characters but particularly liked Alice rediscovering life and Ruby and her diabetes.

One of my favorite from the Lakeshore Chronicles series. Great story of perseverance and graciousness!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would definitely recommend this audiobook to a friend. The story, as usual is intricate. It is full of life, tragedy, family values, and romance found in strange places. Everyone loves a story like this one.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved how the story was about all of the characters overcoming adversity and how hope is the guiding factor in recovery.

Which character – as performed by Joyce Bean – was your favorite?

Alice was my favorite character. I loved how crass she was, but how Ruby changed her and allowed her to let her more emotional happy side out.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The moment when Alice and Mason come to terms with the problems of their past's. It is amazing to see the resilience of people and how together anything can be overcome.

Another amazing, moving, heartwarming Susan Wiggs novel.

Great Story

Interesting and not completely predictable characters, all of whom are likable! It’s a little fairytale like, but that’s part of the fun!

The last of the series

I will miss this series, it helped me through a difficult move. I always looked forward to the next book. Thank you Susan Wiggs
