Fun story and characters!

I really enjoyed this book! The story was fun. I love that we get a good amount of the main characters’ stories and background. I did enjoy their chemistry. It didn’t feel forced or anything. I like that we get to know other characters that would be fun for other books.

Grayson’s Story Rocks

Stars and Scars is a rocking first book in the Platinum Security series spinoff! I was intrigued by Grayson ever since he first appeared in that series, and I thoroughly loved his story. He and Charlotte have dynamite chemistry, and they make quite the duo! Charlotte’s sunshine personality and her heart of gold are so enigmatic, and I adore that she is always looking to help others. Her proactive and practical outlook are refreshing, as is her ability to balance her needs with the needs of her situation. She allows Grayson to keep her safe and she is always willing to hear him out. Grayson is quite the mysterious personality, which tracks given his background. Watching him grow and open his heart to Charlotte is swoony sweet. With a lovely blend of action, intrigue, mystery, drama, and steam, the story moves quickly and is so easy to get sucked into. The narrators’ performances enhance the world building and really bring the characters to life. Loved it!

I personally enjoyed their narration of this book, and the characters are quite fantastic and interesting. I’m really hoping though it’ll be another book similar to this.

Good Story

This was a good listen overall. The story was fast-paced and suspenseful, following Charlotte, a popular influencer, and Grayson, the ex-CIA bodyguard protecting her as threats start closing in. While I personally would’ve loved a bit more chemistry between them, the plot kept me engaged and made for an enjoyable ride. The narration felt a little uneven at times, but it was still solid and didn’t take away from the experience.
