Thrilling and psychologically all consuming.

My mind is blown, I don't know what to believe and I don't know who to trust, all I know is this book and the psychological warfare is intense. I am so invested at this point. I need more! More Kina, more Callum, more Glen, more more more!

I need to know if what I believe is correct or if I am being deceived as well.

I love Kina and her kindness and I hate that is being exploited as a weakness, I hope she can overcome and be allowed to be herself.

I love Callum, and I hope he is as good as what he seems. I hope he is truly a good guy. I hope he is what he seems and I really want things to work out the way I think they should! Ha don't we all, but seriously time to head to book 2 to see what's gonna happen.

I must have more!!!

This is one of those books you don’t want to end. Now I’m forced to wait for the next audiobook. Joe and Andi are a great narration team!!!

A great beginning to the start of the next series. This book is so gripping you hate to stop.

Interesting Premise

This story has an interesting premise and an intertwined plot of good vs. evil. Its so well written that you feel the character's own sense of confusion at knowing who to trust.

Great Beginning to the series!

This is my first book by Meli Raine and I can tell I am going to devour all three of the Stateless book! I love romantic suspense and this one has me hooked on Kina and Callum! Since this is the first book we really only get the background of the characters living at the Stateless compound. Kids are either born there or taken from families (with the parents usually murdered) around the age of four. The first book focuses on 3 students really, Callum, Kina and Gleen. Kina and Glenn are identical twins but deep down are so completely different, Kina is considered the weak student, the mule, because she has too many feelings while Glenn is the star student and a major manipulator. Callum is also a star student but he hides how he really feel and spends a lot of his energy protecting Kina. The big test at the end of their schooling is a Hunger Games style competition in the Woods, which really showed the true colors of the characters and cemented my hatred for Glenn! The end of the book has the three students back at the compound and I am eager to find out what happens next with them all!

Joe Arden and Andi Arndt are two of my favorite narrators so I jumped at the chance to listen to this series! They both did an amazing job bringing the characters to life! Anytime I read a book with an alpha take charge male I always hear Joe Arden's voice in my head so he was completely perfect for Callum! Andi Arndt has such a good range that she was wonderful voicing innocent Kina and sociopathic Glenn!
