From the author of Returning to No Applause, Only More of the Same: In the deadly Tutorial, an ex–pro gamer must face the consequences of his actions.

Lo Fennrick has been through Hell—literally. Surviving the levels of the Tutorial has been hard enough. His body has taken beating after beating, and his mind has disintegrated numerous times over. But on top of all that, it seems the gods have voted on his removal from the game, which would condemn him to an unknown future. Their aversion is hardly unexpected. After all, he's already assassinated an emperor, murdered the king of Acheron, killed thousands of others, and eaten human flesh. Few would be disappointed if he suddenly exploded into a cloud of confetti.

And now rumors are swirling about a Tutorial-wide tournament, spanning all difficulty levels, all servers, and all floors. It's the opening the human leaders who run the servers have been looking for to finally try Fennrick—PrissyKittyPrincess to them—for his crimes against both humanity and goblinkind. Defended by his lone friend, Moleman, he must thread the line between guilt and innocence as he simultaneously fights his way through the tournament and his own trial. His guilt is certain, but what of his punishment? With his stats at such high levels, can he even be executed?

With the entire world seemingly against him, Fennrick will fight off packs of drowned dogs, try out a paid internship, escape a pit of snakes, and maybe, if he's lucky, make a few new friends along the way. All in a day's work for the most hated man in the Tutorial . . .

This is a criminally underrated book. The character growth is very well paced.

Continue the story, this is growth. From the annoying mean brat that just doesn't get it to the broken and hated monster who wants nothing more than help his friend.

Plus I love the the supporting cast. They are all well written and help make this beautiful tragedy.

You know the book is good when you want the monster to succeed

I really liked this book. The first two were okay, a little weird, and off, but I stuck it out and got the third one. I'm glad I did because it's gotten tremendously better. I will definitely be getting the next book too.

Enjoyed it a lot

The voice acting is phenomenal as always. The story is actually more humanizing than previous books. In what I feel and hope is a set up fit futute tragedy. Overall a lot more bonding in this book and a lot less descending into madness.

A skinwalker grows a heart.

This series just keeps pulling me in with every book. The author does an amazing job of balancing the emotional depth and unhinged moments of the main character. It's an amazing story with great narration and i can't wait to see what comes next.

continuing to exceed my expectations

Book 3 is very good at giving the main character more of heart.. well one that he hasn't ripped out of a freshly killed goblin I mean. he's still a terrible person but his insights get more refreshing to listen to and on many occasions I've covered my mouth thinking oh God no not again while also laughing madly at my dog. in any case it's a good book and you should give it a listen to.

A satisfying continuation
