Great Book!

It is a wonderful story line with just enough drama to make it interesting. The narration was very good. It flowed nicely, the characters were portrayed very well, they were believable. I enjoyed it!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

yes, but if you only try one, don't start with this one. Rumor Has It and Then Came You are still the ones to start this series if you want to just try one. They have up beat heroines that will steal your heart. Darcy's character has a darker side she must overcome and that shades this story.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Still the One?

Author has wonderful humor in all of her books and this one doesn't disappoint. i.e. When Zoey tells Zander he should eat a cheeseburger before he tries to kicks AJ's butt.

What does Karen White bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Author is great, but K.W. makes the author's written word blast into life. (Try Julie James series for more of K.W. great reads and laughs.)

I did not try any of this author's work read by new readers. I have had enough of so so readers and did not want any more trial and errors. You will have to read reviews on this authors new readers.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

when AJ bundles Darcy into his shirt and "tucks her away" is one of the many scenes that the author has sprinkled into this listen.

Cute series.

Jill Shalvis is a very funny writer. Always smart and enjoyable. Plus Karen White is a killer narrator.

Never Disappointed

I love this series! Jill Shalvis always adds her sense of wonderful humor and it makes me laugh out loud. It can be awkward while riding the L in Chicago but totally worth it. The story line is great. I wanted to know about Darcy from the last book and am happy that Mrs. Shalvis saw fit to give her an HEA with AJ.

The performance by Karen White was dead on as always. She's narrated this whole series so well. She's got the emotion and humor down pat. So pleased with this book in the series. Cannot wait for book 7!

Oh yeah what fun

I think this is the best one of the series so far. We new Darcy's story was coming. And maybe because I like female characters with edge. And the alpha males that have the guts to love them. I enjoyed the characters and Karen White as dead on with the narrations.
This is a good romance if you enjoy Ms Shalvis.
