George Granville Monah James (1893-1956) was a Guyanese-American historian and author. His 1954 book Stolen Legacy argues that Greek philosophy and religion originated in ancient Egypt. James contends that Greek philosophy was based on ideas and concepts borrowed from the ancient Egyptians. He argues that when Alexander the Great invaded Egypt, he captured the Royal Library at Alexandria and that Egyptian ideas then spread to Greece.

The narrative draws on the writings of freemasonry to support the claim that Greco-Roman mystery religion originates from an Egyptian mystery system. Quoting Greek scholars like Herodotus, Hippocrates, Plato, Aristotle and Pythagoras who mention the Egyptian influence in their work, Stolen Legacy provides much food for thought.

Legacy for sure. True legacy bought to light. The things I was even taught in college….revoked, revealed, and replaced with the truth!

I read the Destruction of Black Civilization many years ago - so I was familiar with the idea of European reshaping of African culture. But this book closes the gap in understanding of the total cultural appropriation of thousands of years of African philosophy and scientific knowledge.

This is an amazing retelling of history

The truth cannot be hidden for ever. It is a wonderful thing to see all the lies that are being exposed that the colonizers stole from the African people. This is a time when everyone is waking up and the VEIL is being removed from the eyes of the people.

BEAUTIFUL WORK!
