I really wish books like this would be read by Black performers. At the very least, I wish the reader knew how to properly pronounce cities like Abydos. Mispronouciations are super distracting.

This is a classic Black history study book. The performance does not do it justice

This is probably the most important African history book of the 20th century. It’s a shame most Africans aren’t aware of such a groundbreaking book, due to western imperialism and misinformation.
Mr. Diop draws evidence from ancient European scholars to archaeological and linguistic evidence.

The only problem is the narration. This book should be given to an African to narrate. The European man who narrated this is a terrible voice actor, he butchered almost every African name he pronounced.

Proves Beyond A reasonable doubt who the real people of Kemet were.
