I received this title for free in exchange for an honest review.
I liked the story overall. it's a common premise of a stranger in a strange land but I thought it set itself apart from similar stories. the mc isn't super op yet but has advantages over some of the obstacles he faces. it was pretty fast paced and had quite a bit of action. add in two of the best narrators out there it made for an easy and enjoyable listen.

I liked it

The mc is strong and level headed doesn’t act like a whinny cry baby like most other harem based books. He is not afraid to go after what he wants and doesn’t have to have a 20 minute mental conversation trying to make up his mind. Sex comes frequent and naturally. It doesn’t feel rushed. I didn’t think I would like it because the cover act gives the idea the mc will get a nose bleed every time a girl talks to him. So I was very happy and surprised this is one of the few harem based book that are really really good. I was just thinking I don't think Daniel Wisniewski and Alyssa Poon does bad books. Almost like they read them first or something. Anyway not much to say other than you will love it.

A harem book done right

this is such a fun story, where rugged Canadian goes to a primitive land and fights for women's honor. The characters were likable in the performance was excellent

Fun Story

So a gun-toting hillbilly (at least, Canada's version) falls into a portal to a stone age world with humans and elves and basically becomes kind of a god, and not just because of his fully automatic assault rifle. He proceeds to try to conquer/liberate local tribes.
It's alright, but didn't do a lot for me personally - I quickly started just listening to it when trying to fall asleep at night. If future books in the series are published, I probably won't get them.
