They called him Stone Cold. Once upon a time, I called him my pen pal.

When I wrote to Callum Rose five years ago, I never expected a response. He was an up-and-coming rock star, after all, and I was just a shy seventeen-year-old. He did write back, though, and through hundreds of emails, we became best friends. Until the day we unknowingly broke each other’s hearts.

Callum becomes a man on fire for me, introverted, awkward, chubby Wren Anderson. He’s obsessive, possessive, and kind of stalker-y—and I like it...a little too much. The problem is, he still doesn’t know I’m the girl who walked away from him or the reason behind it, and I’m afraid when he finds out, I’ll be right back in the cold again.

Gideon Frost as Callum...

I didn't know how badly I needed Gideon Frost's Callum in my life, but he had me from the first "Little Bird". I'd already read the book before I purchased the audio and was so nervous the narration wouldn't live up to the version of Callum I had in my head, but it was so much better!
This book was right up my alley.. Plus-size redhead, two introverts who first connect as pen pals, insecurity, obsession, love and a little kink.
I wasn't prepared for the trees in the epilogue, maybe one of my favorite few paragraphs in any book ever. It just broke me in the very best way. I'm tearing up now thinking about it. Phew.. This book is one of my new favorites! Just read it!

Wren & Callum

This story in a lot of ways is unique - to the point that it stands apart from the others. I followed along as the story evolved without being able to predict what was coming next. I would definitely recommend. The MMC is fiercely in-love, obsessed, protective and a bit stalker-ish.

This author knows how to write romance. These are characters and relationships you can feel in your gut. Callum is character I'll never forget and the narration by Gideon Frost was epic. 🔥🔥

I loved everything! Callum was my favorite. He loved her deeply and was so loyal. Simply the best.
