Starting Something Special

I really like how down to earth both men were. You could see Tom struggle with both business and personal issues. I think Denny’s outlook on life while causing a bit of a muddle was helpful for Tom. It is a reminder that hard times call for hard decisions.

Love Despite Being the Str8 B8

Maybe it’s just me that thinks this, but the blurb of this story falls short in conveying the egregious coerciveness of the situation in which Tom finds himself when he makes the decision to earn money by filming a p0rn scene. Does the adult film industry employ such misleading tactics? Readers who are sensitive to storylines involving coercion and manipulation should maybe use extra consideration in their decision to read this book.

That said, the story is good following the point in which Tom forgives Denny his involvement in this deceptive scheme. They get to know each other, totally date without calling it dating, and generally slow-burn their way through miscommunication and misunderstandings to their happily-ever-after.

Seb Yarrick conveys the personalities of Denny and Tom very well. He delivers an enjoyable performance on the whole.

So Hot & Sweet!

At first, I wasn't thrilled with the narrator, but then I adjusted the speed up and it was much better! I didn't know what to expect, but I found this story to be unique in a genre that lends itself to recycled storylines. I won't give any spoilers, but it is definitely well- worth the listen. just be careful driving, or you might just be squirming in your seat!

Fun story, great characters, narrated very well! Really enjoyed listening to this and definitely recommend it!

Straight bait, I had trouble deciphering the title

This book was narrated by a new to me narrator, Seb Yarrick. He did a great job and I look forward to listening to him narrate in the future.

I love this trope and whenever I see a story where one of the characters is in the adult entertainment business, I snap it right up. This story was a bit of a mixed bag for me. Overall I liked it, but I my irritation with Tom kept growing as the book continued. I'm not sure why Denny gave him the time of day. For a 35 year old man, he was so immature, Denny was definitely the adult in this relationship.
