Might have been better without the romance

Decent story. Kept me engaged for the most part. Became a little predictable at a certain point. My main complaint is the first love scene was just too unrealistic considering everything else that was going on. If the romance was put more on the back burner the mystery part would have had more of an impact.

A mystery and a timeless love story

Set in a rural camp this story deals with some of society bigger problems. It's the love and good in people that comes out to the reader that saves them and love wins.

Romance

Too much romance. Guest ranch and murder mystery pretty good. Narrator not too good, most voices sound too much alike .

Not as good

This is the only book I have read of BJ Daniels books that I did not enjoy. I kept listening, hoping it would get better. Maybe it is the Narrator. Not sure, but I was disappointed.

I have enjoyed most of BJ Daniels books. This booked seemed to not be as interesting because it lacked the excitement of many others.
