From start to finish I could not stop listening. I can’t wait to start the next book!!!

The story was interesting and left you with a cliff hanger

Some parts were a little cheesy but overall the book was very entertaining and enjoyable

I didn’t know what to expect when I started reading this, but once I started, I could not stop. It’s so good and the ending has you on the edge of your seat.

OMG Best Duet Ever!!!

I have listened to over 1000 books and most are mafia romance. I found Ms. Claytons book in the free catalog. I have been looking for another good Mafia book. When you have listened to as many as i have it gets harder and harder to find a good one as many of them have the same storyline and they get so repetitive i have to question wether ive heard it already or not. This book was the best flipping book and duet i have ever listened to. I have to say she went with old school mafia torture tactics so cringe worthy. I was trying to cover my ears but quickly realizes i have ear buds in. I laughed out loud, teared up, and talked out loud as if i were at a movie. It was the perfect length and the narrators did an amazing job. At times i felt Charlotte had an Irish accent. I dont think she intended for it to be but i felt like i could hear it. She still did an amazing job. Jeremy did good as well. I did get confused at the end, 30 to 40 min of book 2 but just stick with it and it will all become clear. This is the first book i have read by this author but i am definitely going to check her other books out. This book was put together so well. The plot, character building, transitions everything was perfect. I literally listened to both books in 24 hours. I had to force myself to turn it off to get some sleep. If you like Mafia books thia one is worth it. It is not your typical quick read. I loved it! Thanks Ms. Clayton. I would love to hear about Nicco and Viola please. Maybe you already one. Im about to find out.

I appreciate that it wasn’t rushed nor was the story line compromised because of the mmc and fmc relationship. I’m on the edge with this cliff hanger and can’t wait for book two!
