Amazing

I truly love the heroine in this one. She starts off as being the underdog, but completely commands everyone!

narration isn't very good especially the female but im not crazy about her pov to begin with. the writer is good she gets to the point without all the fluff and over written discrimination of everything. really like that so I'm going on to read the next book

Pretty Good

This was a good start in a duet that featired characters from Shain Rose's other books. Although I enjoyed Rome and Catalina's journey so far, I'm not sure it's good enough to go on to the 2nd book in this duet. Marcio Catalano and Joy Beharie had stellar performances but I wish it had been done in duet style.

Quit halfway through

I listened to the preview. It sounded amazing until you actually start listening to the book itself. I couldn’t keep up with what was happening with Catalina in the beginning. It kept going here there and everywhere I kept having to go back and relisten because I feel like it skipped so much. I’m not a fan of the female narrator. I’ve listened to books that have her in it and have stopped listening to those books as well. So as I don’t think that it is the writer, I think it’s more the narrator issue.

The Mafia Story that keeps on giving…..

This book has a great plot. Great narration. Katie is a woman on a mission. This story has everything you want … suspence, love triangle, and twist and turns. Leaving you with a cliffhanger! Now going to book 2.
