The cover of this book threw me off, but with all the good reviews, I decided to give it a chance. Soooooo worth a credit! I'm hooked and can't wait to start book 2!

Pissed But in A Good Way

I like this book. But I am thoroughly pissed off by the cliffhanger. Awaiting the next book. Good job Sawyer Bennett...

I'm kind of mad the book ended the way it did. hate waiting on part two to a series

The Pain

Oh the heart-break and pain of this story. This is a story of one girl's innocence being forcibly taken and her pursuit of vengeance. It's a story of a jaded man who saw the beautifully broken woman intent on her target and felt something for her. It's a story of them together healing a painful past and learning to put the broken pieces together, but dark secrets never stay in the dark. For these characters it can break them, again. Such a compelling tale of drives someone more - vengeance or love. Can't want to listen to the next book.

4.5 Stars!!! I will say this book was a recommendation so I went into it completely blind. Getting through the first part of the book was hard for me, but I am so glad that I did! This book is so different than anything I have read before but in the best way. My heart broke for Sela and I wanted revenge in her name! I thought that Beck was her perfect compliment. I loved how an untraditional beginning unfolded this story. Now on to the next book, I have to know where this goes!
