Loved how the story flows. Makes me believe there are still charming prince's awaiting to sweep you off your feet

Had to go out and buy the rest of the series because of this book. New fave author

Surprise Protector

I loved the story how he went from being mean to her to being her protector and falling in love. Loved the happy ending they got, the story and the performance was great.

Cute story...but the narrator distracts a bit.

I've had this title in my library for several years and have listened to it many times, because I really like the story. But, the male narrator, while he does a very good job with the male parts of the book; He does not even attempt a female voice, so it is difficult sometimes to notice when the perspective changes. Honestly, I guess I prefer this to him doing a terribly annoying female voice, It's still a little disappointing. All things aside, it still is a really good story, and I love the relationship development, so if the voice thing doesn't bother you, then you should give this a try for a nice quick read.

Entertaining

I had never read or listened to any stories by this author, so I was anxious to listen to this audio. Glad I did.
The story centers around billionaire Jason Riker, security company CEO, and single mom Elena.
They meet when she’s housesitting a place in the Hamptons. To say that he was obnoxious , is putting it mildly. The next 2 encounters were not much better.
But somehow , fate brings them together and as they both get to know each other, and their secrets, a bond occurs.
When her ex starts to cause problems, Riker steps in to help.
The story had a little of everything: action, bad guys, a sweet little girl, and of course romance.
The narrator though he was not what I had in mind for this story, was good.
