Sympathy for the devil?

While some call him John, he's more widely known as the devil. He's fun, egotistical, and more than a little handsome, but more importantly, he's bored and looking for something to do to spark things up. Not to mention, he is in desperate need of some friends, which he inadvertently finds in Pierce and Calla - who are gods in their own right, but on the side of good.

Chaos and mayhem follow John at every turn, until he eventually loses all his powers to his bitch of a wife who overthrows him and takes on the role of Satan herself. But there's no need to feel sympathy for John - he is the devil, after all.

This is one comedic fantasy you won't be able to put down.

Any additional comments?

This was a very pleasant surprise. Good story with really good narration. Thought the ending was a little too neatly done, but was an entertaining story nonetheless. I think the author has a good niche with this group of characters, hopefully there will be more.

Highly recommend for a light listen. The devil gets himself into some trouble and the performance lets you really have some sympathy for him. Excellent story.

Welcome to small town America, full of nice people, people with angelic powers and of course Satan.
A J AARON did a fabulous job creating a fun and creative story where the Devil and white lighter are friends.
Will Tulin did great work with the different voices. I especially liked the Devil Jon's voice.

This was a fabulous book! I found it highly entertaining. I was not sure how I would feel about having any sympathy for the Devil, but I was totally surprised. before you know it, you like "john" and even feel sorry for him.
it's totally worth the read, but you should be warned, I had the the song, "Sympathy for the Devil" stuck in my head for 2 days :)
