There is nothing at all to be done about it / There is nothing to do about anything.

Along the garden wall the bees / With hairy bellies pass between / The staminate and pistilate / Blest office of the epicene.

The starved crow sits in the field, attentive / and in the wood the owl rehearses the hollow note of death.

Moon light and star light, owl and moth light / Glow-worm glowlight on a grassblade.
