All it took was one look to end my life....

Because one look is all it takes to trigger a werewolf's mate hunt.

And when a wolf is hunting, he doesn't stop until his mate either dies or becomes a wolf too.

Now I'm trapped in some guy's house, he's stuck in his wolf form, and there's no way out for either of us.

Life as I knew it is over, but my fight to survive is only beginning.

This is Ford and Ebony's story!

This is a stand-alone new-adult paranormal romance featuring sarcasm, humor, and slow-burn romance. It was originally published on Kindle Vella and has since been edited.

This pretty much followed the first book with little variation except the timing of events. I’m not sure the rest in the series will become “same ol’ same ol’”. Thus the 4 star rating. I could have given 5 stars to the narrator but she read a little too fast for me to savor the story. But I do have to say that this world of wolf shifters has far more unique features than other shifter stories I have read, which was a treat. I would have liked to see a little more side tension besides just the mating process. If that is all the rest of the series offers it will be a no for me.

Definitely a different shifter take

Another fun story in this series. I liked the storyline, there definitely was a portion that was very sad, however, overall a good story. The narrator did a nice job. I enjoyed it enough that I plan to listen to the third book in the series.

Good story
