Hailey Genest has seen most of her friends marry and have babies, and she's happy for them, but it was a lot easier before she hit 40. She's spent her entire life in Whitford, Maine, and if she hasn't found her Prince Charming by now, she has to accept she's probably not going to. When a new friend suggests they go on an adventure and embrace being single, Hailey agrees. Surviving in the woods is game warden Matt Barnett's idea of a relaxing vacation. But when he meets two women in need of help, he leads them back to safety - a task that proves more fun than expected, thanks to a certain hot blonde. He can't resist pushing her buttons, even though she's made it clear that the rugged, outdoorsy type just isn't for her. Hailey is glad to see the back of her tempting-tour-guide-slash-pain-in-the-ass. When he shows up in her life again, she's determined to avoid him, no matter how good he looks in his uniform. But that's easier said than done in Whitford, especially when he's renting the house right next door...

In a way that only Shannon Stacy can tell a story once again we are back in Maine with a damsel looking for prince charming.

As Haily goes through life she's a bit envious of her friends (the Kowalski family) and how they have each found their other half. Haily is mentioned in at least two of the previous books in the series – she is the town librarian.

Haily is a bit of a snob, so when she and her friend are rescued, after being lost in the woods, by Matt Barnett – a young looking Grizzly Adams – she is grateful for his direction and getting her home safely. But that is it!

Or is it? Matt has unknowingly rented the house next door to her and thinks that she is pretty pretty spectacular. Will these two polar opposites become a couple? I think you know the answer to that but it is fun to read as they go on this little journey in Whitford Maine.

I always look forward to my next Shannon Stacy book and love Lauren Fortgang's narration.

Sweet, cute, but not particularly memorable. A bit like candy - good while you eat it but not necessarily something I will remember next week.

Cute

I loved seeing Hailey get her HEA with the sexy ranger, Matt. These two prove that opposites do attract.

Lauren Fortgang does an outstanding job as usual with the narration. I enjoyed every minute of TAKEN WITH YOU and I can't wait to listen to FALLEN FOR MAX when it's available on audio.

Stacey and Fortgang is a winning author/narrator combo!

Great Author/Narrator Combo!

First: The narrator reads the wrong, as Hilary.. Nope, it's Hailey
Second: when has the conversation with her mom, it says she sits down with a glass of water. Later it says she sits back to sip on her lemonade

Doesn't anyone proof these before sending out?
