Wrong narrator

I really had trouble getting into this book because of the narrators voice. It was very nasally and sharp to me. Nothing sensual or sexy about it. I listened to the clip and though it was okay, but the MC voices are not featured heavily in the preview so I misjudged it.

I made it through the book, and the story was good. But I would not recommend this audiobook version. I would love to listen to more books by this author but it seems many of Anna Stone’s books are narrated by the same person and thus not the right style for me.

I highly recommend this one. I read this book first so the audio was a surprise to me. The words were the same & I still felt the love, heat, and overall amazing work but, this is Anna Stone! I have come to expect greatness from her. Ruby was a very solid strong character who meets control freak (BUT still worth loving) Yvonne. Sparks fly, worlds collide, and hearts turn from stone. Great read!
Now let's talk the "Being Hers Saga" When will those be coming to audio?? I would love to hear those beautiful erotica works of art. I know they are good, I read them! ;)

Haha it was a great story filled with exotic bdsm between two lovers sub and dom. It had you pulling for the pair to be the real deal and not just to pull the wool over the eyes of those to get money. You won’t be disappointed with the outcome. I know I wasn’t.

Good Book, but Narration Sadly Disappointing

The story is a good sexy one--I had read the book and loved it. However, the voices were a major disappointment. Ruby sounded like a baby-voiced slow-witted showgirl, and Yvonne was a disappointment as well. I cringed at how the narration did no favors to the author's writing. Angela Dawes does a much better job on Lee Winter's books. The voices are sexy, and in a pleasant lower register. I'm someone who has done hundreds of audio transcriptions over the years, and love the intimacy of it. The right voice is crucial for this material to help us visualize the story. Think BBC women announcers!!
